We so desire to use our home as a ministry tool. Whether it’s housing ministry partners, providing a haven for college students, hosting ministry events, or discipling young teens, we pray that the Lord will use this “open door” for ministry in many hearts and lives. Come see us here in Greenville, SC when you can.

Our Door is Always Open

Since we bought our first home in January 2014, we have managed to keep this place quite busy – from entertaining guests, housing college students, to hosting neighborhood gatherings. We want our home to be a tool – used in ministry for the Lord. The photo below is of our recent college student gathering.

So if you are coming to South Carolina anytime please let us know. We would love to see you at 4 Monterey Lane in Greenville.

On March 6, 2014 we loaded our belongings that had been in storage for four years in Front Royal, VA and moved them to Greenville, SC. We are so grateful for our “Packing Partners”, for those who stored our items over those years, for those who helped load the truck, and for our son and daughter-in-law who traveled with us to VA and back.

Our Packing Partners

In January 2014 we signed papers to purchase a home (a foreclosure). Our new home address is 4 Monterey Lane, Greenville, SC 29615. We will still travel and serve as before but now we will have a place “to come home to” in between our travels. And, no, this doesn’t look like South Carolina. This picture was taken during one of our rare snowstorms in February 2014.

Our Home Base

Since much of our ministry involves travel across the United States, for 3 1/2 years (January 2010 to June 2013) we lived in a 36 ft. fifth-wheel trailer. Out of 28 years of marriage, we have lived 18 1/2 years in a fifth-wheel trailer. (We previously traveled in missionary evangelism for 15 years – ministering to small, struggling churches across the country.)

A Major Decision

During the past few years, living in a fifth-wheel trailer enabled us to assist in PLANTING Hispanic (bilingual) Baptist churches, PARTNERING with established churches in challenging them to reach Hispanics or in encouraging our Hispanic missionaries with BCP and PREPARING leaders to reach Hispanics. We still do all of the same . . . just now without our “house-on-wheels”.
