On August 2-23, Esther Gonzales (her parents serve with Baptist Church Planters) joined us as an intern. She participated in our daily ministry activities, was challenged to read a stack of books, shared her testimony in several services, taught several classes, taught the children at our Iowa Hispanic Retreat, discussed ministry ideas, kept a journal about all of her experiences, celebrated her 19th birthday and endured Mr. Taylor’s teasing.
