Christmas Day as a Family

We were thankful that our son, Ben, was able to be with us for Christmas. We all enjoyed the comforts of our new trailer and having a third person in the trailer worked out just fine. We are grateful for the time we have been able to be together over the past few weeks.

Time with Family

We were able to spend Christmas with Herb’s parents who spend half of their year in Davenport, FL. We parked our trailer in the same RV park and enjoyed several days of activities, food and visiting together with them. Most of our days were quite cold – just didn’t have the snow of up north.

Herb loves the donuts his Mom used to make, so together we as a family made donuts over Christmas vacation. Here our son, Ben, is showing his expertise in cutting the dough. No matter how careful we try to be, it’s always a messy job – but it makes Herb happy!

Visiting sights in Washington DC

Our son, Benjamin, is home from college for the summer. He is living with a family in our home church, working at Lowe’s, running his own mowing business and serving in our home church. Here we are visiting a few sights in Washington, D.C., which is only about an hour from Front Royal. We are standing in the studio where they film the news program “This Week”. This is part of the Newseum, one of the newest museums in D.C..

Kip, our Pomeranian, travels with us. Here we caught him being “spiritual”. Doesn’t it look like he is reading the Bible?
