Connecting with Others

We held our third Hispanic Think Tank (also known as the National Conference on Hispanic Outreach) on October 7, 2016 in Greenville, SC. Our goals were to: 1) ENCOURAGE Hispanic ministry leaders by connecting with each other with ideas, resources and purpose and 2) EQUIP Hispanic ministry leaders by providing training on current issues and free materials.

United in the Truth

It was a special joy to have Matt Morrell, the president of Central Baptist Theological Seminary in Minneapolis, MN bring the closing message at the Hispanic Think Tank on October 7. His message, “United in the Truth” was challenging and thought provoking.

A Frequent Scene

This is a frequent scene in our ministry – our display table – whether set up at a college, conference, church, or other ministry opportunity, we are seeking to connect with others so we can share our burden of “Reaching Hispanics: Our Neighbors!”

APPRECIATING HER SERVICE

At our BCP Council Meeting in August 2016, the BCP Council members skyped briefly with Carol Ciocca, one of our BCP missionaries serving in McAllen, TX. She has faithfully served the Lord for many years and since she is considering the possibility of retiring next year, the council wanted to share words of appreciation with her and pray for her. Since Carol serves as part of our Hispanic team, here Herb is sharing his words of introduction about Carol to the Council.
