What a great gift is a gift card! We recently used a gift card to help purchase some “Ultimate Questions” booklets (in Spanish) by John Blanchard. We look forward to sharing these evangelistic booklets!
SOCCER OUTREACH

Faith Baptist Church in St. Matthews, SC is seeking to connect with their community through a spring and fall soccer ministry outreach. A number of Hispanic families are getting involved and we hope to consult and encourage this ministry as they seek to reach out to these families. We visited here recently to encourage this work and hope to see the Lord through this special outreach effort.

Herb spoke on Titus 1:1-4 at Iglesia Refugio in Greenville, SC recently. What a blessing to be able to share God’s Word bilingually – in Spanish and English – so that all in the service could understand.

We are grateful for 20 churches and 10 individuals who support us in this ministry. It was a joy to minister here with one of our supporting churches, Immanuel Baptist Church in Lima, OH recently.

We connected in a Spanish church during Hannah’s freshman year of college and became her “South Carolina parents.” Discipling teen girls, participating in our Iowa Hispanic retreat, living with us periodically (even during 2020 quarantine days), rejoicing in her wedding, studying the book of Job together and now awaiting the arrival of her firstborn . . . are just some of our relationship memories. What a joy to be a part of Hannah’s life!

Each year we have several college student gatherings in our home. We invite students from various Hispanic ministries or students connected to us by our supporters. Jacob and Melissa (the two nearest Herb), met at one of those gatherings in our home and that was the beginning of a very special relationship. You never know how God will lead!!
