We are now in Costa Rica for four months of language school. Here is one difference. Right now the exchange rate is about 500 colones to 1 dollar. We are gradually getting used to thinking that 10,000 colones is about $20.00.

One of our favorite things to do is to eat Hispanic food. Sometimes finding a really good Hispanic or Mexican restaurant can be a challenge but when we do . . . we are happy . . . especially when we can order “carne de asada”.

Here Herb and Pastor Paul Parido are standing in front of the building they will be renting for the church facility for Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL. This will be a great stepping stone in their ministry. We are excited to see the Lord continuing to work in this faithful ministry.

Here is the facility that the church will soon be using (renting). They have painting, installing of new carpet and lights, purchasing of chairs, etc. before they can use the facility. There is great potential for their ministry to grow here. We are looking forward to seeing what the Lord will do here. We ministered with this church family on Sunday, December 12.

GFBC (Grace Fellowship Baptist Church) in Port St. Lucie, FL recently called a young man to be their pastor. Here is Pastor Paul Parido (on the right) with his grandparents (who are also members), Dave and Ruth Denny.

Herb shared a message on Sunday morning, December 12 with Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL that was entitled “Being a Partner in Missions”. We are so glad that we are able to partner together in serving the Lord with this church family.

Here Dave Denny is opening the morning service at Grace Fellowship Baptist Church in Port St. Lucie, FL on December 12. They will soon be enjoying their own rented facility which will be minus the funny characters on the wall.

Having this additional work station in the trailer now enables us to both be working on our computers. We are so grateful for this addition to our traveling home and office.
