Here Herb with 4 of the 5 members who serve on the NCHO committee were reviewing last minute plans for the day of ministry at NCHO in October 2019.

Here are some of the speakers that we had at our recent NCHO meeting on October 4, 2019 in Greenville, SC. This one day bilingual ministry event hosted over 110 attendees as we discussed ministry issues, were challenged on church planting practices, perused many ministry resources and enjoyed just being together!

Miguel and Ana Quintana are faithful servants who continue to serve at Iglesia Bautista Hispana Starkey in Seminole, FL. We were glad to have them join us for the NCHO conference in October and we were able to squeeze in a trip to Culver’s for some food and much needed fellowship.

Each year we invite college students to our home for an evening of relaxation, refreshments and visiting. We enjoy being so close to campus where we can easily drop off brownies or have them come spend an evening with us at our home.

Here Herb is FaceTiming with David Whitcher, who previously served as the BCP Hispanic Coordinator, before he had to take a medical retirement. We so appreciate David and his listening ear, counsel and prayers. We count on him as a crucial part of our ministry team!

We are grateful for Tim and Marsha Weeks, who also serve with Baptist Church Planters, caring for the English-speaking missionaries and ministries. These two are great friends and partners in the ministry and we enjoy serving together in the ministry.

Herb was able to take one of our BCP missionaries, Carlos Vasquez, to the Expositores Conference (the Expositors Conference) in L.A. They joined about 2500 others for some great preaching and encouragement during a weekend in September – all in Spanish!

In August we again led the Hispanic retreat in Clear Lake (Ventura), Iowa. We had 190 participate in this special ministry weekend. We are so grateful for the Lord’s blessing on this time of ministry together.
