When we are home in Greenville, SC we assist in the ministry at Iglesia Bautista Calvario in Greer, SC. Periodically on a Sunday we have a fellowship dinner after the morning service and then we have a “Tiempo de Alabanza” (a time of praise) in the afternoon service. Here two of our guys are accompanying us with the guitars during our singing time of praising in Spanish!
THE GIFT OF BIBLES
We seek to assist in the ministry of Iglesia Bautista Calvario in Greer, SC when we are not traveling in our ministry. Part of our ministry is teaching the young teen girls. Here we were able to give a Bible to each of the teen girls. How we pray that they will follow the truths of Scripture always in their lives.
SIGNING A BEAUTY PLEDGE
When we are home in Greenville, SC, I (Wanda) teach the young teen girls. Here they are signing a “Beauty Pledge” – signifying their desire to have the Lord make them beautiful on the inside first!
OUR BCP CHURCH PLANTERS IN HAYWARD, CA
Please pray for our BCP Church Planters, Carlos and Issa Vasquez, who are faithfully serving in Hayward, CA. Their church plant is presently meeting on Sunday afternoons in the church facilities of an English-speaking ministry, Fairway Park Baptist Church in Hayward, CA. Rejoicing in God’s Leading
On Sunday, March 6, 2016, Iglesia Bautista la Fe officially graduated from missions status – a church plant of Baptist Church Planters. We pray that this growing and now self-supporting ministry will reach many in the bilingual community in the years to come.
A Ministry Graduates
Faith Baptist Church or Iglesia Bautista la Fe “graduated” from mission status with Baptist Church Planters on March 6, 2016. We rejoice in this first bilingual ministry that is now a self-supporting church in the Phoenix, AZ area.
Cheerfully Faithful
David and Melissa Whitcher are cheerfully and faithfully serving the Lord in Forney, TX. David (the former Hispanic Coordinator with Baptist Church Planters) struggles with the results of carbon monoxide poisoning but we rejoice to see how the Lord continues to sustain him and his family through this life-changing experience. He is still a vital part of our ministry team as we rely on him for advice and prayer!
