La Fiesta del Otoo

On Sunday afternoon, October 27 we had . . . una Fiesta del Otoño (Fall Festival) at Iglesia Bautista Calvario de Greer, SC. When we are not traveling in our ministry, we assist in this Spanish church plant. Here Horacio and Marcos are leading the song time before the Scriptural challenge. The afternoon was filled with lots of games, hay rides, food (physically and spiritually) and of course, concluded with piñatas.

On August 16-17 we had a Hispanic Retreat in Clear Lake, IA. We rejoice that 110 attended the special ministry weekend. We are grateful for the practical, Biblical teaching of God’s Word from Dr. Jose Talavera from Hayward, CA.

Bienvenidos Everyone

While visiting Iglesia Biblica la Roca in Hayward, CA we smiled when Willie opened the service by saying, “Bienvenidos everyone!” How’s that for being bilingual? Bienvenidos mean “welcome” in Spanish . . . so he just said “Welcome everyone” bilingually. It worked – we all understood!
